Dr. Boatman will be contributing to our Blog page. The call to ministry can be seen on Dr. Richard Boatman’s life since his teen years. At the age of 16, he was invited to minister globally through music and teaching. He then returned to Iowa and has pastored for more than 25 years, serving a charismatic church as well as Quaker and United Methodist congregations.

Woven throughout all his ecumenical ministry experiences is the common theme of church renewal, helping people to encounter the Spirit of the living Christ.

Larae, Dr Boatman’s wife, is an art teacher and has a background in Directing Youth and Children Ministries in Iowa & California. Her love for Jesus spills over to inspire and encourage kids of all ages. Richard and Larae have 3 children, several grandchildren and currently live in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
